As you walk along the banks of the Bruche River in Avolsheim, you will discover a peaceful route that takes you through lush landscapes and the charming Alsatian countryside, with views of the river that meanders gently along your path. This particular spot offers stunning views of the river.

The Rocher du Pfaffenlap is a steep granite outcrop nestled in the Vosges Mountains, offering a fantastic location for mountain biking. The trail to the rock is a mix of challenging climbs and thrilling descents, with some rocky sections that require skill and balance. Once you reach the top, you’ll be rewarded with stunning views of the surrounding forests and valleys.

Beautiful little hike, accessible to everyone

The Sacred Heart is a statue located on the Wolxheim wine trail. At the foot of this statue is the Grand Cru Altenberg vineyard; in good weather you can also contemplate Strasbourg Cathedral, located about twenty kilometers away. This statue was erected in 1912 on the limestone cliff of the Horn. On the base are engraved Christ's words of peace at a time when only war was spoken of. It is the symbol of the peace desired by the population and is deliberately turned towards the Mutzig Fort. The statue was inaugurated on July 27, 1912. Beautiful panoramic view.
