At the top of the Dent de Crolles (2,062 meters), the view emerges over the entire Grésivaudan valley. Second highest summit of the Chartreuse massif after Chamechaude at 2082 meters, its ascent is however more technical.
This summit offers a breathtaking 360° view and is located in the sensitive natural space of the Hauts de Chartreuse. This habitat is home to the black grouse, from which the nearby Col du Coq takes its name.
