These monolithic tombs are located near the Roger Lapébie cycle path, at the side of the road, below the church. They are dug into the limestone substrate, where the cemetery of the Benedictine priory and then the parish once existed (12th and 13th centuries). We find such burials in Grézillac, in Gironde, and in Aubeterre-sur-Dronne, in Charente. These burials were reserved for local dignitaries, religious or noble.

Great bike ride from Bordeaux. We had planned overnight accommodation in Saint Brice, in a large tent made available for participation. Ecological solar shower toilets. It is located in the chestnut grove (Google Maps). No reservations, just ask on the spot.
