More than 10km from Grignan, Roussas is an old fortified village, perched on top of a rocky peak. You can find the remains of the 12th century castle.

Viviers Cathedral is one of the smallest cathedrals in France, if not the smallest. It was built in the 11th century and has been listed as a historical monument since 1906. You can see the cathedral from the banks of the river.

A lovely section of the Via Rhona just south of Montelimar. You can continue north to Geneva or south to Montpellier.

The Cité Blanche is a former working-class town located in Viviers in Ardèche, on the banks of the Rhône. It was built by the Lafarge brothers company in 1880 near their cement works to house its employees, then enlarged in 1913. In 2021, the last resident died.
