Croix du Chugeut is the closest look out when hiking from Annecy. It is a great uphill hike to get to to it and the views are totally worth it. I really enjoyed the reveal as you emerge from the forest and step up to the view.

There's probably no other place in Annecy where as many photos are taken as in front of the Palais de l'Île. The ultimate Instagram spot in Annecy: the Palais de l'Île, also called the Palais d'Isle. The palace is located in the heart of Annecy, on the Thiou River. Standing on the bridge in front of it, you'll quickly understand why Annecy is also called the Venice of the Alps. If you don't just want to take photos of the palace, you can also visit it. It used to be a prison; today it's a museum.
