Annecy, and more specifically its old town, boasts a fantastic setting. The well-landscaped lakeside makes it easy to explore in complete peace and quiet.

The path is difficult to use by bike on busy days, especially in summer. Constant attention is required to avoid collisions with the many users and modes of transport (pedestrians, rollerbladers, sport cyclists, scooters, etc.). Ride slowly.

Nice views but very busy on sunny days

Talloires has the steepest climb on the lake circuit. You either have to ride up the switchbacks or down. At one of the switchbacks' bends, you'll have a fantastic view of the lake and the mountains.

Lake Annecy is a great place to go for a bike ride. If you don't want to climb the passes that border it, there are several cycle paths that allow you to stay close to the water, like this one.
