Little-known and little-frequented pass, the climb is done alone and without a sound in the forest. The view is magnificent and on arrival, the refuge allows you to have a small drink (⚠️payment by species only). The road is in poor condition and it can be disturbing on the way down. If you have a Gravel and courage, the thirst route (Gravel/mountain bike path) allows you to reach the Col des Aravis and is magnificent. The tour of Lake Annecy is very nice to do. For those who do not like steep climbs, you have to go around clockwise because the climb between Menthon-Saint-Bernard and Talloires is gentler, and for those who like small climbs, you have to go counterclockwise because the Talloires hill is steep anyway.

far too many vehicles on this small road, we should ask that one morning per month (eg from May to September, one Sunday morning/month from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. so as not to penalize the restaurants in the area and the residents) this road be reserved for cyclists

Very long and demanding climb to the Col de L'Arpettaz. The views at all times are spectacular. The Col de l'Arpettaz from Ugine via Mont Dessous has a length of 15.5 kilometers and an ascent of 1171 vertical meters with a slope of 7.6% on average. The summit is located at 1586 meters above sea level.
