A very nice road for cycling and only moderate traffic. It's busy at the top, even in summer. They want to offer families entertainment and exercise. Not my style at all—but the people in the valleys can earn their living from it.

Beautiful panoramic views of the surrounding mountain scenery. Some of the roads are newly paved, so the ride up and down is fun.

Charmless pass between the ski slopes. The end of the road above Hauteluce offers beautiful views towards Arêches.

Perfect starting point for great mountain bike or running tours. Everything on site. Parking, shops, nature.

far too many vehicles on this small road, we should ask that one morning per month (eg from May to September, one Sunday morning/month from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. so as not to penalize the restaurants in the area and the residents) this road be reserved for cyclists

The Col des Saisies is one of the most famous passes in Savoy. The pass, located at an altitude of 1,681 meters, connects the Beaufortain valley with the Val d'Arly. The pass has been tackled many times by the Tour de France and is also home to a ski resort.

Very beautiful pass, regular and wild, very beautiful view

The magnificent Col de la Forclaz has a Swiss feel. The view of Lake Annecy is absolutely superb and you will find a restaurant at the pass serving fondue and blueberry tart specialties. Its name is appropriate and corresponds well to the idea that one has of a pass. Forclaz in Savoyard dialect means passage in the mountains.
