At the foot of the Tournette, the Pré Verel refuge is a great place to eat and spend the night. The atmosphere is friendly and the cuisine is made with local produce. You can even pitch a tent there. A great place to stay!

It is a pretty family mountain chalet, at the foot of the Tournette. You can eat there and buy tommes and reblochons made on site. A delight! From the chalet, we also have a superb view of the lake and the peaks that surround it.

You can only get up here by car with a special permit. "Ordinary mortals" have to change to their own shoes a little further down the mountain in the hiking car park.

Last parking possibility in front of the summit for "normal" hikers - access to the Chalet de l'Aulp de Montmin is only permitted with a special permit. There are toilets here.
