A great classic of Lake Annecy. Beware of the crowds and the heat in summer. A departure at dawn is more comfortable. Conversely, in the off-season, beware of the snowfields still possible until June and the cool temperatures until mid-June and from September.

Basic riding skills are not enough for this tour! It is far too steep to ride uphill. Going downhill you need a full suspension bike with a lot of suspension travel and very good riding technique. I don't think that's suitable for mountain biking.

Enjoy a fantastic view in good weather

A sublime ridge leading to Pointe de la Bajulaz, located high above the town of Montmin. This ridge offers phenomenal views of the surrounding peaks and valleys, as well as some great flowing passages on some pretty surreal multi-use trails. Watch out for hikers, as well as ibexes who love to call this incredible place their home. The trail runs along a fairly exposed ridge, so it is suitable for people who are not afraid of heights and have a little confidence.

Magnificent summit with great views. Climb technically not difficult, short insured passage to the summit.

Starting from a car park just a little lower than the chalet de l'Aulp, climb an hour for the more agile or a good hour and a half for the less trained. Some narrow passages, sensitive to vertigo - be careful - The vertigo will pass after all when you discover the view and the panoramas available to you on Lake Annecy. At the foot of the Armchair, climb 3 ladders to reach the Croix de la Tournette and finally breathe in the fresh Haute-Savoie air. Good hike and good climb! Sportingly
