A short, steep climb from the forest and the Planfait take-off car park to a magical viewpoint

The Petite Molaire is accessible from the Col des Frêtes by following the path that runs alongside the Dents de Lanfon (a snowfield remains at the start of the season) then turning left by a rock (a barely visible red patch). You then quickly climb up using the handrails into the gap between the Dent Sud and the Petite Molaire. You then turn left (or right) along a small path and, with a few relatively easy climbing steps, you reach the summit of the Petite Molaire.

Pointe de Talamarche offers some of the most beautiful views of Lake Annecy and the Aravis mountains in the region. The trails to the summit, at an altitude of 1850 meters, offer serious and technical riding opportunities in a true mountain area, on multi-use trails.

About 200/300 meters of technical passage requiring the use of hands. Vigilance with people prone to vertigo or children or dogs. Possible but demanding, fortunately secured with chains.

Cave allowing to cross the ridge. About 50 meters long. Lamp recommended for about thirty meters in total darkness in a scree, so you have to be able to see where to put your feet.

It is a superb summit, located at an altitude of 1,850 meters at the end of a rocky ridge. From there, we have an incredible view of Lake Annecy, the Bauges and the Aravis.
