Robert the Devil's Castle is a medieval fortress dating from the time of the Dukes of Normandy. The castle is named after Robert the Devil, a legendary figure who was either Robert II of Bellême or Robert the Magnificent, the father of William the Conqueror. The castle is located on a cliff which overlooks the Seine valley and offers panoramic views of the region. The castle is surrounded by a three-hectare wooded park, where you can take a peaceful walk or have a picnic. The castle is open Tuesday to Sunday, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and the entrance fee is 5 euros for adults and 3 euros for children.
