I just drive up the first, somewhat steeper path and don't see that there are sandstone thresholds that are getting higher and higher. On the fourth, the engine touched down and bang, everything on the ground. Just scratches and a few bruises.

The Desingy church is one of the oldest in Haute-Savoie. This Romanesque building dates from the 12th century, but has undergone many modifications since then.

Chaumont is a superb village of 500 inhabitants. The center of the village is dominated by the ruins of its old fortified castle, dating from the 12th century. There is a stopover gite for hikers in Chaumont, open from mid-April to the end of October.

This stone bridge dates from 1721, and allows you to admire the Fornant, as well as huge pots of giants. These cavities dug in the limestone rock are really surprising!
