The lake is beautiful. There is a path around the lake but signs request people not to use it, to protect the wildlife and sensitive ecology, so you should stick to the main track along the eastern side

A beautiful and secluded mountain lake, perched in the valleys above the ski resort of Châtel. The lake makes a great destination for all types of cyclists and is the perfect place to enjoy a sandwich while enjoying the alpine ambiance.
