A visit to the Church of Saint-Séverin is like stepping back in time to old Paris. Built around 650 AD during the Merovingian period, the Église Saint-Séverin was dedicated to the hermit monk Saint-Séverin. The nave is adorned with 19th-century stained-glass windows. It is parallelogram-shaped, ending in a semicircular apse, and has no transept. Like Notre-Dame de Paris, it features double collaterals: five wide naves surrounded by a central cluster of chapels, an arrangement that lends the entire building a striking sense of grandeur.

Saint Maur loop

A very pleasant route along the right bank of the Marne. The best route is to go along the right bank and return along the left bank.

Iron pedestrian footbridge built in 1893-1894 to facilitate traffic between Le Perreux and Bry-sur-Marne. The construction of the Bry Footbridge by the Société de construction de Levallois-Perret, a former company of Gustave Eiffel, aimed to replace a missing ferry and to allow Bry residents access to the Nogent tramway. It required the installation of 42 piles driven to a depth of 10 m.

In the Parc du Tremblay, a sculpture made of glass, steel, crystal and enamels. Dimensions 225 x 270 x 105 Created by Daniel Pommereulle (1937 - 2003) on the occasion of the bicentennial of the French Revolution. The work refers to the Declaration of the Rights of Man, in homage to the Montagnards who inspired the laws. Installed in the Parc du Tremblay since October 2014

The best known of the lakes in the Bois de Vincennes. Great for a short break. Avoid cycling there on weekends, as there are too many pedestrians. On those days, prefer the Lac des Minimes or the many roads in the woods that are closed to cars...
