현지의 카바네(굴 오두막)는 오랜 역사를 가지고 있습니다. 이미 19세기 후반에 이곳에 선원과 어부들이 최초의 단순한 목조 오두막을 세웠습니다. 1959년에는 현대적인 굴 양식 사업체를 체계적으로 유치하기 위해 중앙 흙언덕(terre-plein)이 조성되었습니다. 1980년대 중반에는 항구 중 하나가 요트 항구로 개조되기도 했습니다. 그럼에도 불구하고, 전형적으로 빽빽하게 늘어선 목조 오두막들은 소박한 매력을 완전히 보존하고 있습니다. 오늘날 La Hume 항구의 오두막들은 굴 양식업자(ostréiculteurs)들의 작업 공간과 아늑한 시식 장소로 나뉩니다. 휴가객과 현지인들은 특히 Dégustation을 위해 이 오두막들을 높이 평가합니다.
