Easy outing at the beginning with a trace on the cycle path then alternating rolling path, Rhone forest and Conflans climb to finish. Avoid on a rainy day, it quickly gets greasy!

This fort was built as a defensive garrison in the 19th century and played a vital role in the defense strategy. Today, it plays a more peaceful, but equally important, role in the aging of Beaufort cheese.

We left around 8.30 to take advantage of the cooler temperatures, a really pleasant circuit as soon as we leave Aigüe Blanche. Small road without traffic, which climbs regularly, to do without hesitation! Superb landscape and view of the Col de la Madeleine and the surrounding mountains. Little pose at GrandNave at Fred's very nice, I recommend!

Public swimming area with free entry and lifeguards on site. Small snack truck provides guests with reasonable prices. Just great!
