A pass in the heart of the Bauges Massif, the core zone of the nature reserve, with beautiful views, including the Arcalod, the highest peak of the massif, with good chances of spotting marmots below.

Mont Trélod is for me the most beautiful summit of the Bauges. All these accesses are magnificent and allow you to make beautiful loops.

Mont Trélod rises to 2,181 meters above sea level. It is the fourth highest summit of the Bauges (after Arcalod, Pointe de la Sambuy and Pécloz). From the top, there is a magnificent panorama of Mont Blanc and the rest of the Bauges.

It is a magnificent pass, at an altitude of 1,745 meters. From there, there is a superb panorama of the Tournette, Mont Charvin and the Chaîne des Aravis.

At 2,217 meters above sea level, the Arcalod is the highest point of the Bauges massif. From there, we have a superb panorama of the Northern Alps. We take full eyes!

A technical alpine descent so make sure you're topped up with Orangina at the the hut before you push over the top to start the descent. Loose and steep this is a descent that rewards you with the most amazing views of the mountains. So remote and amazing to feel so connected with the mountains.
