It is sometimes a bad part, where you go bumpy on the cycle path. The cracks are not too bad in my opinion.

I was astonished that the Rhine-Marne Canal cycle path is completely neglected for many kilometers. Brambles, grasses, and other plants narrow the path in places to less than 1 meter. Trees and shrubs are also growing there. The same picture a year ago – but only in this region! There were no such things in the Doubs, Loire, or Brittany! What a shame!

The canal is worth a bike trip - although the section between Nancy and Xouaxange does not offer such outstanding landscapes.

Oh! - D'Alsace-Lorraine! Although this region is one of the richest in France, it is often very poorly maintained and looked after! Many of my trail photos show that things can be done differently! But I was surprised that there are so many sections in this section of the trail!

An impressive building. It was nice that we were greeted with Edvard Grieg's morning mood. Unfortunately, I can't upload a video - the atmosphere was wonderful. The bike path along the canal is really good. I also took a few pictures for the trail view.
