The neo-Gothic church was built by the Count Saintignon. Dedicated to the saint patron of the miners, the church distinguishes itself by a rare representation of the saint. While, according to the tradition the iconographic attribute of Saint Barbara is a tower she holds in her hands or stands by her feet, but in the church of Lasauvage she is located inside a tower.

We walk at the same level as the water, or even slightly below, and this aquatic murmur is very soothing and refreshing. I like to walk there at the beginning of spring, because it is at this time of the year that the water is the most singing.
