A popular place for swimming, Plaisance Beach is also a good place to see the Île d'Aix and Fort Boyard. It is located at the western end of the Saumonards Forest, which offers a pleasant setting for cycling.

The marina of Saint-Denis-d'Oléron, located at the northern tip of the island of Oléron, is a charming maritime refuge, perfect for a stopover or a stroll. From the port of Douhait, the channel enters the land in the middle of a pretty marsh landscape. The ideal place for a bike ride thanks to the cycle path.
