The Old Town Hall is located in the center of Pfeddersheim. It was built between 1760 and 1770 and originally served as the Orb family's castle. Since the 19th century, the building has housed the town hall and administrative offices. The police are also currently located here. Above the entrance is the Pfeddersheim coat of arms, which identifies the town as a former Free Imperial City.

Very nice and cozy rest area near the Leiselbach. By the way, according to Wikipedia: The Leiselbach (in dialect the Leiselsbach, also known as the Leisel) is an almost 9 km long northern, left tributary of the Pfrimm.

Suburban gate (the lower gate) was the most important and therefore the best protected. In turbulent times, the upper city gate remained permanently closed. Access was only via a drawbridge. It is also likely that there was a round arched frieze at the top, which can only be guessed at today.
