The priory represents a monastic complex built from the 11th century. Rich in sculpted capitals, the church stands out with its half-buried crypt from the 11th century, while the refectory still retains a 15th century fresco representing The Last Supper.

Montbrison, the historic capital of Forez, is rich in heritage sites not to be missed. The town center of Montbrison with its shopping streets and alleys, its lively terraces, is a lively and friendly place.

The Notre-Dame-d'Espérance Collegiate Church is the largest Gothic church in the Loire department. The construction of this Gothic church spanned almost two centuries (1223-1466). With its beautiful architecture, it is the heart of the city and one of the most beautiful churches in the whole region.

Former Benedictine priory founded around the year 1000 and restored in the 1970s. Today it hosts guided tours, exhibitions, concerts, association events and private events.
