You can climb the tower, but you can't see anything. The small windows in the tower provide very little light, so you have to be careful. There's a wonderful sense of peace all around.

The Wasenkoepfel is a 526m high mountain in the Northern Vosges to the northwest of Oberbronn. The Wasenkoepfel is located on the French long-distance hiking trail GR 53. It can be reached from Oberbronn in 45 minutes on the way to the ruins of Gross-Arnsberg Castle. In 1887, the Vosges Club built a lookout tower on its summit. The view is now restricted by trees.
