Hello everyone I actually planned to go to the Stanserhorn today. However, since my new satnav, the Garmin GPSMAP 65s, and my new sports watch, the Suunto Vertical, only arrived yesterday, I decided to go on a leisurely hike to test these devices - and not exactly in the mountains. That's why I chose this beautiful tour in the flatlands and I have to say that the satnav and the sports watch impressed me - just great! Important: I started from my office where I work. You can't park there, but there are various parking options in the area. 80% of the entire tour is in the forest on very beautiful, narrow paths and the remaining 20% on normal roads. I had a lot of fun; there was something for everyone. There are also really nice barbecue areas and the Reuss almost always ran parallel to the paths. For your information: Although the tour is almost 20 km long, I found it to be absolutely easy and rated it as such. However, it is listed as difficult on Komoot. As I said, for me it was absolutely easy. For someone else it may actually be difficult. You have to look at everything: fitness level, etc. Everyone is different and feels differently. Former hut for Polish prisoners of war from the Second World War, now a forest hut.

A beautiful facility, sports field and meeting place. Various levels of difficulty. Today a 2-year-old girl was on the pump track 🔝👍!!!
