The tour of the well-appointed Chalucet towers, 30 years ago, could not be visited, at your own risk.... We will notice the remains of a stone staircase on a tower.

Very nice site to visit, however it is not accessible to everyone (many steps and climbing). Bring a good pair of cleats. It can be visited either on a guided tour (paying) or alone (free). On the other hand, there is a very nice walk to do, which is accessible to everyone, at the bottom of the castle along the river and completely free...

Chalucet Castle brings together on the same site a castrum and a new castle from the last third of the 13th century, the remains of which stand in the French commune of Saint-Jean-Ligoure in the Haute-Vienne department in New Aquitaine. Guided tours are offered at a rate of 6 euros per person.
