Arfeuilles is a charming village dating back to the Middle Ages. It is located in the Allier department, on one of the last foothills of the Madeleine Mountains. Its proximity to nature makes it a popular destination for lovers of the great outdoors.

Beautiful Romanesque church in small "mountain" village

The Saint-Symphorien church in the town of Billy is a building originally built in the 11th century when the nave was built. The bell tower on the south facade was added in the 13th century and the choir was rebuilt in the 15th century. In the 19th century, two side chapels formed the transept.

This high place in Bourbon history is built in the center of the village on a circular mound. Listed as a historic monument, the fortress can be visited all year round.

Elected among the "most beautiful villages of the Allier", Montaigu-le-Blin is known for its 13th century medieval castle, perched on a steep rock. In the center of the village there is also a very beautiful Romanesque church and a large tree-lined square, on which are planted 143 trees and a pleasant inn.
