The peat bog is a very special environment, made up of waterlogged plants whose residues accumulate to form peat. It is the habitat of several protected species: the Fadet des Laiches, a rare butterfly that flies from mid-June to mid-July. But also several carnivorous plants, the best known of which is Drosera.
