Châtelus-Malvaleix is a small town in the Creuse which is home to several remarkable houses, fountains and wash houses. The Roussille lake offers a supervised beach in summer, a campsite and gîtes to enjoy the summer activities around the lake.
In Anzême, at the foot of the village, in the gorges of the Creuse, stands this bridge. Who but the devil could have built a bridge between two such steep rocky ridges? A magnificent view over the Creuse.
Very impressive viaduct built in 1905-1906 to allow passage of the railway line which linked La Châtre to Guéret. This line was decommissioned in 1952.
