The Lac Vert (Green Lake) is a natural lake in the French department of Haute-Savoie, near the commune of Passy. According to the French National Forest Agency, the ONF, the lake was probably formed during a landslide, the so-called "Dérochoir", in the 15th century. Subsequently, subsequent landslides (one in 1751) embellished the lake with several boulders.

Lake Peyron (2,453 m) is located above the Granges de la Vallée Étroit (1,765 m) (Briançonnais, Hautes-Alpes). Access by road can be done through Névache (D 301T) and following the D 1T road that leads to the Narrow Valley (1,765 m), via the Col de l'Échelle (1,762 m)

A walk to this lake is well worth it. Very pleasant place to make a stop while touring and enjoy the nature and the beautiful view.
