Nicknamed the "Knochenheiler" of Berig: Michel Varis born in Grostenquin on May 14, 1777, a healer who left his mark. Famous for his undisputed gifts as a bone-setter, but also for his great generosity. He treated people and animals out of charity at a time and in a region where doctors were rare. He died on July 13, 1850 in Bérig-Vintrange, and is buried in the municipal cemetery. His epitaph pays tribute to the great man he was.

The modern low-rise building is located outside the center. You can reach the city by bus.

I really liked the town hall in Niederhombourg with a large square in front of it. The town hall is a highlight worth seeing.

The church dates from the 14th century and has rich medieval interiors. The church has been classified as a monument historique since 1930. A sign on the church points this out. It is located on the Way of St. James and is decorated with a scallop shell.

The modern low-rise train station is located outside the center. You can get to the city center by bus.
