A very beautiful walk with lots of paths and trails in the undergrowth. No particular difficulties. However, be careful of two descents with rolling stones. We did this route the day after a storm and some places were muddy. I recommend this outing.

In this mostly wooded area, most of the views are offered by the summits of the puys. With its beautiful vegetation, this open plain at an altitude of around 1,000 meters allows you to run amidst a pleasant, open landscape. From here, you can see the puys des Gouttes and Chopine.

This body of water is private and therefore inaccessible

Keep your eyes peeled at the edge of the Etang Grand. This Sensitive Natural Area (ENS) is home to many nesting and migratory birds 🦅

The Etang Grand de Pulvérières is a very beautiful site for ornithological observation.

Moving a little away from the forests located at the foot of the puys allows you to enjoy lovely views of the Puys chain and in particular of the Puy de Dôme.

Chazeron Castle is located on the site of an ancient Gallic oppidum. This fortified place then saw the peak of its castle in the 11th century with the construction of the keep and 17 fortified towers.
