The most beautiful view of the Jabron. The river in the heart of the Drôme connects Montélimar on the Rhône with Comps in the mountains north of Dieulefit over a length of 39 km. At the beginning of the 19th century, ceramic, wool and silk factories were built along the river. The Jabron was the backbone of this industrial development, it provided energy in the form of hydropower and supplied the manufacturing processes with the necessary amount of water available all year round. This castle (private property) founded in the 14ᵉ century retains very few vestiges of this period. It was refurbished in the 17ᵉ century, with a south facade made in the 19ᵉ century in a neo-medieval style. Its current quadrangular plan is confined to the corners of four circular turrets; its four wings overlook an interior courtyard accessible from the east. The agricultural outbuilding (farm) which was attached to it and adjoining to the northeast, probably in the 19ᵉ century, adopts a U-shaped plan. It has an interior courtyard and includes a stable wing.

The old castle garden in Bégude-de-Mazenc is now public (the old castle has been converted into holiday apartments). The garden is open all year round and there is a bistro (Le Kiosk) near the intersection of rue Émile Loubet and rue Jean Jaurès.

Château Loubet (the old Chateau de Mas): Originally a castle-like fortified Provençal estate from the Middle Ages, from 1655 rebuilt like a castle, whereby the four medieval towers were preserved. The east and west facade and the chapel date from the 18th century, the south facade was extensively redesigned with battlements, new gables, windows and a parade balcony during the Romantic era.
