Lacrouzette is located in Sidobre in the heart of the Haut Languedoc Regional Park. The largest granite massif in Europe, the Sidobre is a mountainous region located south of the Massif Central. Formed from a single giant block, it is cracked on the surface, the erosion of the water has left some remarkable natural constructions there, among which: the "Peyro Clabado" (from Occitan Pèira Clavada: nailed stone), a block of 780 tons balanced on a natural base; the "rock of the goose", rock evoking a goose; the "three cheeses", three enormous rocks stacked on top of each other; the Wonders trail with the Elephant, Billiards, Tongue, Devil's Armchair, etc.
