In the heart of the old town of Gaillac lies the church of St. Peter, built entirely of brick. In the sixteenth century, during the religious war, the church suffered greatly, but some beautiful original features can still be seen, such as its portal.

From the church you have a great view of the river valley. The way up is easy with an e-bike 😉 otherwise it's pretty steep

Great view of the Tarn river. The lack of leaves in winter give you a view all the way to Albi, in summer the leaves and heat haze sometimes block the Albi cathedral.

It is the central square of Gaillac, where the market takes place on Friday mornings. There are also many cafes there. The site is very lively!
