Trou du Duc는 가파른 암벽에 위치한 자연 동굴입니다. 이곳의 독특한 접근 방식이 특히 흥미로운데, 절벽 위 전망대 바닥에 있는 금속 해치를 통해 동굴로 들어갈 수 있습니다. 해치를 열고 고정된 금속 사다리를 타고 약 5~6미터 아래로 내려갑니다. 아래로 내려가면 계곡과 숲이 우거진 Combe의 환상적인 전망을 자랑하는 인상적인 문 모양의 암석 창이 나타납니다. 주의!: 동굴 하강은 본인의 책임하에 이루어집니다. 손전등이나 헤드랜턴을 반드시 지참해야 합니다. 동굴을 나갈 때는 해치를 다시 조심스럽게 닫아주세요. 젖어 있거나 얼어 있을 경우 하강 경로가 매우 미끄럽고 위험합니다.

The site is beautiful and well documented. A beautiful shelter built for the excavation teams allows you to take a break in the shelter if the weather is acting up 😉

Access to the hole is under a hatch on the catwalk, then you have to go down via a metal ladder. We find ourselves during the descent facing the combe, it's quite dizzying!!! And magnificent !!! Be careful not to get stuck with your backpacks, it is safer to leave them upstairs.

From the 2nd century AD, this Gallo-Roman site was open to the public. Located in the forest of Arcenant, it was discovered in the 1980s. It is a small but important establishment which served as a relay at the junction of a main road.

The cliffs and the cave are a real spectacle. The views are breathtaking and the Trou du Duc is an adventure in its own right just waiting to be explored.
