Excellent cycle route on former train route. (fences require some slalom skills!)

This green trail starts in Bessières (31) and leads to Bressols (82) near Montauban. The road surface is asphalt but in some places you will find sandy surfaces. Quite busy cyclist and pedestrian crossing. Be careful at the end of each segment (or beginning) gantries are installed, don't hurt yourself.

A little bitumen at the beginning and at the finish with in between, a dirt path surrounded by fields. Depending on the season, the colors give a postcard-like feel from a lost country. Very pleasant.

Here you go uphill from Villemur-sur-Tarn to Le Born. At the beginning you have an 8-9% gradient and then it becomes flatter. At le Born you will be rewarded with a great view.

Excellent walking path. Not suitable for speed even if wide and little used, the barriers every 500m-1000m are very restrictive. Safety bonus at intersections but not an optimal solution.

The slopes between Villemur-sur-Tarn, Varennes and Bondigoux are superb and several marked hiking trails will allow you to walk there. This path is undoubtedly the prettiest to go up from Bondigoux to Villemur.

The coating is top! a nice mix of quality, rootless, perfect, it rolls well. On the other hand, a few black spots: every 1 km: a very painful chicane barrier to cross. A single water point over the entire length: at the skate park of Villemur sur Tarn. Lots of sections that lack trees, especially shade. Summer hits hard. Pleasant on a portion, but monotonous in the long run.
