Located in the middle of the forest in the woods overlooking the town of Saint-Victor-sur-Ouche, you can find the ruins of the Château de Marigny. I didn't dare go beyond the gate of the castle enclosure because it is marked "private property".

It is a 15th century fortress located on a rocky outcrop 475 meters above the surrounding plains. In 1936, a count donated the castle to the State. This former mansion labeled Remarkable Garden is worth a visit with a large 18th century terraced vegetable garden, an orchard, a wetland (stream and ponds), a meadow, a belvedere and a quarry buried in the undergrowth.
