We leave the Couladère road to the left of the small cemetery and the destroyed church to take a communal path which climbs very steeply and which leads to a path which runs alongside fields.

Sainte-Croix-Volvestre, set in the hilly landscape of Ariège, seduces with its medieval character and its tranquility. The 16th century church dominates the village. Local market, winding streets and surrounding nature make it a place of relaxation. Stroll along the Volp or near the lake!

Here we find a lovely section in the middle of the countryside, suitable for gravel bikes and mountain biking. It allows you to get off the Sainte-Croix road for a few minutes.
