A good bike path for covering distance. Runs alongside the road, but it's relatively quiet.

The Catholic parish church of St. Jodokus is a church building that defines the townscape in Immenstaad on Lake Constance. The parish belongs to the Meersburg pastoral unit in the Linzgau deanery of the Archdiocese of Freiburg.[1] The patron saint is St. Jodokus. A Gothic choir, an old tower, and a more recent church building have merged into a single unit. The small parish originally had a small chapel and was a branch of the parish in Bermatingen, about three hours' walk away. Bermatingen belonged to the Cistercian Abbey of Salem. The believers from Immenstaad wanted their own pastor because of the long walk, but this was vehemently rejected by the Abbey of Salem. The congregation turned to (Anti-)Pope John XXIII, who resided in Bologna. They converted the chapel into a church and established a cemetery. After the Council of Constance, the congregation was elevated to a parish.

The Birnau Pilgrimage Church is a Baroque church under the patronage of Mary (Ascension, August 15th, and Visitation, July 2nd) on the northern shore of Lake Constance between the towns of Nussdorf and Uhldingen-Mühlhofen in Baden-Württemberg. The church is located in Birnau on the western route of the Upper Swabian Baroque Road, directly below the B 31 federal highway. It was built between 1746 and 1749 by the Vorarlberg master builder Peter Thumb for the Imperial Abbey of Salem. It features a rich Baroque interior, including frescoes by Gottfried Bernhard Götz, as well as stuccoes, altars, and sculptures by Joseph Anton Feuchtmayer, the most famous of which is the Honey Licker, a putto with a beehive. Since 1946, the church has also served as the parish church for the towns of Deisendorf and Nussdorf; in 1971, it was elevated to a minor basilica by Pope Paul VI. The order building in front of the church with its striking bell tower now houses a priory of the Cistercian Abbey of Wettingen-Mehrerau.
