The Bois-Dousset or Bois-Doucet castle is located in Lavoux in the Vienne (France). It dates from the 16th century and was enlarged in the 17th century. The Bois-Dousset castle is surrounded by moats. The main building, more classical, houses a beautiful stone staircase. This natural site is a space for relaxation and discovery, ideal for hiking and nature lovers. The forest is home to a rich biodiversity, with a variety of plant and animal species typical of the region. Marked trails allow you to discover the beauty of its wooded landscapes.

It is a large wooden house built in 1991 by the city of Montamisé, a place of discovery, information of the territory, one can find there animations in summer and the weekend, sometimes very beautiful exhibitions.
