This bridge crosses the stream of the Mother which encircles the city. It offers a beautiful view of the well-preserved fortifications of Vouvant. Looking north, you can see the Mélusine tower. It is in fact the keep, the only part of the old castle that still remains.

Renaissance castle classified as an historic monument. Free and guided visits, annual closure between January and the end of March. Very nice large park.
