We did the bike tour in the fall. Because of the wind on Mont Ventoux, it felt even colder than the actual temperature. So, be sure to pack warm clothes; maybe even change your clothes at the summit. It didn't get any warmer during the descent ;). We would have liked to have brought warm gloves. Overall: fantastic!

Since there are no drinking water stations on the Rhône Cycle Route, this rest area is very convenient. It offers a pleasant atmosphere and reasonable/normal prices. Plus, there's plenty of shade.

A nice backdrop for Instagram cyclists. The path past it is in good condition, and I'm usually too fast to get a closer look at the tower :-)
