The Château de Saint Mesmin is a medieval fortress built in the 14th century during the Hundred Years' War. Short ascent of St Michel Mont Mercure but quite steep 10%

A beautiful climb with a finish at 14% to reach the top of the Vendée. A magnificent view of the surrounding countryside, and St Michel as guardian of Mont Mercure

The ruins of this 11th century castle are worth visiting. Located on the heights of the village of Pouzanges, the castle offers a spectacular view.

Be careful, it climbs steeply to reach it
