A little corner of freshness which is very welcome in summer. From here you see the Dessoubre river being born in a succession of small waterfalls which emanate from the rocks of the Cirque de Consolation.

The Dessoubre has its source in the Cirque de Consolation, at Consolation-Maisonnettes, and meanders through this superb valley. The valley is also classified as ZNIEFF (natural zone of ecological, fauna and flora interest), which means that it is a natural space considered remarkable. The Consolation site itself is also known for its monastery, viewpoints, waterfalls and botanical gardens.

Le Bécué in Le Russey is a picturesque site for hiking enthusiasts who want to enjoy the natural beauty of the Doubs region of France. The Bécué circuit is a 5.6 km loop trail that begins and ends in the village of Russey, passing through forests, meadows and hills. The trail is easy to follow and suitable for all levels of hikers. Along the way, you can admire the views of the Jura mountains and the Swiss border. The best time to hike this trail is from April to October, when the weather is mild and the flowers are in bloom.

Moulin Pond View is a scenic spot that offers panoramic views of the pond and surrounding forest, where you can enjoy the tranquility and beauty of nature.

If you are looking for a historic and picturesque hike, you can visit the ruins of the Reaumont castle in Bélieu, a commune in the Doubs department of France. The castle was built in the 14th century by Henry de Montfaucon, a nobleman who became the Count of Montbéliard. It was destroyed in 1639 by the troops of Louis XIII during the Thirty Years' War. We can still see the remains of the walls, towers and moats that defended this medieval fortress. The castle is located at an altitude of around 1000 meters and offers panoramic views of the valley below.

The Roche du Prêtre offers a breathtaking view of the Cirque de Consolation below as well as the forests and hills of the region.
