Magné Elvis Bridge

This attractive metal structure bridge dates from 1901. It rises so as to let the boats pass which, in the past, took the river to Marans to transport foodstuffs.

This metal bridge, built in 1901, replaced the old wooden bridge which had been banned in 1896 after partially collapsing under the weight of a cart. The movable decks of this current bridge allow the passage of boats which otherwise would have had to use 9 locks to make the same journey.

The mill dates from the 1480s. The last miller to actively use the mill was in 1928, after which it was no longer in use. Today it has been renovated and can be rented for events, weddings and the like.
