This section runs alongside the Rhine-Rhône Canal and is part of the EuroVelo 6 route. The canal's lively atmosphere is delightful. The cycle path is well-maintained and the setting is very pleasant.

The Voie de la Bresse Jurassienne connects Lons-le-Saunier to Dole. It forms the link between EuroVelo 6 and the Voie Bressane. Over 53 kilometers, this cycle route follows an old railway line through the Jura Bresse and the Finage plain.

This route is part of EuroVelo 6. It is a secure route of more than 3,600 kilometers for 10 crossings on 3 of the largest European roads: The Loire, the Rhine and the Danube. In the Jura, this Eurovéloroute crosses the Pays de Dole, to the north of the Jura, using the old towpaths, along the Doubs and the Rhine-Rhône canal.
