Visiting the Parisian beach on a Sunday gives an even better idea of the place where the French spend some summer relaxation.

From the Port de la Bastille to La Villette, this canal offers you spots for a picnic, bars and cafes, places to dance in the summer or even play boules.

A lovely little outing, a chance to get away from it all, relax and unwind in the very peaceful areas of this park.

It's very easy to ride, although there are sometimes steeper inclines, which are even equipped with speed bumps perpendicular to the roadway to slow down cyclists descending. This, of course, has a negative impact on the arduous climb. You also have to watch out for the many pedestrians.
