Not made for bicycles (stairs)

A beautiful nature reserve accessible only on foot and by bike, from the towpath or from the main entrance on the RN34. Lovely walks, bird watching, a children's park, games, picnic areas, and peace and quiet guaranteed! You can also walk along the right bank of the Marne through this park (the cycle paths are a bit narrow).

Iron pedestrian footbridge built in 1893-1894 to facilitate traffic between Le Perreux and Bry-sur-Marne. The construction of the Bry Footbridge by the Société de construction de Levallois-Perret, a former company of Gustave Eiffel, aimed to replace a missing ferry and to allow Bry residents access to the Nogent tramway. It required the installation of 42 piles driven to a depth of 10 m.

The Haute-Île departmental park is a park located in the last non-urbanized meander of the Île-de-France region, and restores the wetlands that the Marne River has left behind over the years. You can explore the park on foot and discover different natural habitats, such as shrublands, riverine forests, canals, reed beds and islands. You will also be able to observe a rich biodiversity of birds, amphibians, fish and plants thanks to the six observatories scattered throughout the park. The Haute-Île Departmental Park is a privileged place to enjoy nature and culture in a peaceful and green setting.

You can enjoy the view of the canal while running along the Chemin du canal. The surface of the path is perfect for running and the trees along the canal with their mistletoe provide constant interest.
