At 77 years old, and having only started hiking last May, I found this climb quite hard, especially with the first 4 stages of the GR10 in my legs. And if we continue to Saint Etienne de Baïgorry we are not at the end of our troubles, because there are still all the ridges to cover, and it is a roller coaster. And when we start the descent to Saint Etienne de B. we are not there ... Great stage all the same!

Located at 987 meters above sea level, Elhorriko Kaskoa is a peak that is easily reached from the Ispeguy Pass. Dominating the village of Baigorri, it forms a great viewpoint over all the peaks of Iparla.

Planted on the south of the Iparla ridges, this summit culminates at 1,029 meters above sea level on the heights of the Baigorri valley. It offers a vast panorama which stretches to the high Pyrenean peaks.
